Feeling Better

We took Aubrey to the doctor on Monday and he said she had croup / stridor virus. She sounded like a seal barking and had a deep, throaty cough. The doctor prescribed a steroid prescription and she’s been taking that for the last few days. Tuesday and Wednesday were difficult. Although the steroid gave Aubrey a lot of energy, she was obviously uncomfortable and never could get quite content. She was very fussy and needed to be held almost constantly. However, she did take a break from fussing long enough on Wednesday to look at books for a little while with her big sister.


Happily, as of today, Aubrey is starting to act like herself again. She even let Laney push her around in the shopping cart for a little while this evening.
