Our sweet Laney Beth is 5 years old today! We celebrated her birthday earlier in the week with Na-Na and Jimdaddy, and again today with our own party after church. She requested a special lunch of McDonalds and wants to go swimming at the neighborhood pool this afternoon. She is very easy to please. She got her very own American Girl doll that is from the "Just Like Me" line, only it doesn't look too much like her. It is the one that she insisted on though, and Laney is very excited about her. She named her Alexis. I am so proud of Laney. She has handled Kindergarten like a champ, and has become such a sweet, smart, independent big girl. We love you, Laney!
