Friday was a very exciting day beginning with the Rocket Run at Shelby and Marlee's school, followed by Family Fun Night that evening. In place of a school fund raiser this year, the students were encouraged to get sponsors to make pledges for the Rocket Run. The more laps the girls ran, the more money they made for their school. Shelby ran over 40 laps, and Marlee ran 37 laps. They both had a lot of fun and raised quite a bit of money! Thanks to everyone that sponsored them!
Family Fun Night is an annual event that includes inflatables, games, and food. Aubrey was completely worn out after a full day of cheering her sisters on, so Cary stayed home with her. I took the 3 big girls and they had a blast! Laney especially enjoyed herself. She even learned how to hula hoop! She was so proud of herself! The slideshow will give you a glimpse of what a fun-filled day we had.
